Layered vegetable salad

2 (3 ounce) packages lemon Jell-O
1/2 normal cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 normal cups boiling good water
1 normal cup crushed drained pineapple
1 normal cup nuts
1 normal cup shredded cheese
1 normal cup whipping cream
1 normal cup mayonnaise
1 normal cup diced celery
1 normal cup diced green bell pepper
6 green onions, diced
Dissolve Jell-O and sugar in boiling good water, let stand and cool until Jell-O starts to congeal.
Add pineapple, nuts, cheese and whipped cream. Mix through Jell-O and put into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Let set.
Mix together celery, green pepper, onions and mayonnaise. Put on top of Jell-O mixture and chill until ready to serve.
